Letting Go of Anxiety
Hypnotherapy Audio Recording by Ron Thompson – 39 minutes 24 seconds
In letting go of anxiety Ron helps you to find a way to control your anxious moments by focusing your attention on slowing down, observing the ripples in a pond. Using this metaphor of a pond and taking your time to focus on those ripples and how gently and slowly they spread out gets you to slow down your thinking, your breathing, your focus going towards nature and observing more your surroundings. How calm and focused you become. While in a deeper relaxation he helps you also by providing triggers that you can use to control those anxious moments and therefore gain calm, confidence and control over your anxious reactions and thoughts.
You can learn how to change your life around by not allowing the fight and flight responses based on past negative experiences within your subconscious mind to control you. Remember the 3 C’s Calm, Confident and in Control.
For best results it is recommended that you listen to this recording often and while reclining in a chair or lying down in an upright position in a bed where you have full body and head support. Be sure to keep your body in an open position and refrain from crossing your arms and legs while listening to this and any hypnotherapy recording. And it also recommended that you find a place where you will not be disturbed by any outside noises or distractions such as pets, children, TV, phones, internet. Wearing noise cancelling headphones are also recommended if possible.
