Over the years Ron has endured several amputations, and presently wears an above knee prosthesis on his right leg and more recently a below knee prosthesis on his left leg. He’s also endured having a kidney transplant several years ago but besides all of this you will never meet a more positive man.

It was during Ron’s initial nine month stay in the hospital that he had a near death experience which altered his view of life. While he was recuperating in the hospital he met many people in much worse situations than himself that were dealing with severe emotional and mental problems additional to the obvious physical problems which brought them to hospital in the first place. Ron discovered that although hospitals can help you with the physical body they cannot repair what is wrong within a person’s mind. This was the start of his journey into Hypnotherapy.

Since early 2007 Ron has successfully studied with a number of hypnotherapy institutes. He is his own testimonial as he discovered that through self-hypnosis he was capable of eliminating the phantom pains that he was experiencing from his leg amputation. This was a very exciting revelation to him and through this he has been driven to learn how to do more clinical hypnotherapy to help others like himself.

He was first certified through the Vancouver Island School of Hypnotherapy but felt he would like more training and so went on to receive his advanced clinical Hypnotherapy diploma through the New England Hypnotherapy Institute. Over the years Ron has received training through Hypnosis Motivation Institute with John Kappas, Richard Nongard, Igor Ledochowski, Steve Jones, Ron is also certified by the American Clinical Hypnotherapy Institute and the International Board of professional Hypnotherapists. Ron continues over the years to add to his advanced cortication in the following courses:

  • Neuro Linguistic Programing
  • Weight loss
  • Sports Performance and recovery
  • Stress coaching

If you had to give an opinion about your first impression of Tracy Thompson, the first thing that comes to mind is how very honest and down-to-earth she is.  She will always look you straight in the eye and listen intently to everything you have to say and she will undoubtedly reply back in the most honest, kind, but yet straightforward way she knows how. Her understanding and compassion for others always comes through when she talks to you.

Tracy’s life has been a very eclectic life experience (60+yrs) she has worked at many and varied occupations ranging from work in the health, dental and secular business fields. This life experience has given her a foundation to glean from as far as her work and education goes and also as to why she ultimately chose hypnotherapy as her present career choice since 2010.

By having experienced how quickly and efficiently hypnotherapy worked on her ability to clear her mind of many years of negative programming with her own personal life problems she realized that she wanted to help others feel this good too.  It is because Tracy has noticed such a remarkable difference in her own life from just a few hypnotherapy sessions that she has decided to dedicate her life towards helping others feel the same way through wonders of hypnotherapy.

Private Sessions

Your privacy is our utmost concern, we treat all contact with clients, potential clients and enquiries with the utmost confidentiality and respect.

Safe

Hypnotherapy is a safe procedure when done by a trained therapist. Hypnotherapy is not mind control or brainwashing. A therapist cannot make a person do something embarrassing or something the person does not want to do.

Improve Relationships

Self-improvement with hypnotherapy can help you to mend troubled and strained relationships. Hypnosis is an effective way to overcome personality traits and behaviours that interfere with your ability to connect with others and that cause conflict with friends, family and romantic partners. Through hypnotherapy, you can overcome anger issues, jealousy and shyness and even recover from the pain of past relationships that makes it hard for you to trust and open up to a partner. Those who are looking for love can use hypnosis to make themselves more attractive to prospective partners, and for those in relationships, hypnosis is a proven way to improve sexual performance and address sexual problems like a lack of libido, impotency and premature ejaculation.

Improve Mental Health

Because hypnotherapy has the ability to change ways of thinking, it is often used as an alternative intervention for mental health concerns (although a doctor should always be consulted first before beginning any complimentary therapy). Hypnosis can eliminate the irrational fears that cause a variety of phobias from a fear of heights to a fear of driving to a fear of public speaking. The relaxation benefits of hypnosis can be highly beneficial for people with anxiety disorders, and hypnotherapy can even improve mood to ease feelings of depression. Experts also recommend hypnosis as a complementary intervention for obsessive compulsive disorder.

Goal Setting

Everyone has goals that they want to achieve, but often our minds interfere with our ability to succeed. Hypnotherapy can ensure that you have the proper mindset to make your dreams a reality. For students, hypnosis can improve study habits and improve performance on exams. Professionals can use hypnosis to increase their leadership abilities, improve their productivity and make themselves more receptive to opportunities to make money or advance their careers. Athletes can improve their performance in training and competition by strengthening their minds with hypnosis, and hypnotherapy can also increase motivation and energy levels during workouts.
